Ada Voitetchi: A Leader in Logistics
Share
Two years ago, Ada Voitetchi had no logistics experience. No business degree. No master plan.
What she did have was a brave decision to walk away from something that didn’t feel right, and the courage to say yes to something completely new.
Today, Ada is one of our top Logistics Coordinators at USA Containers. She's been voted Employee of the Month three times—not because of flashy presentations or big speeches, but because her work speaks for itself.
Pitch, Please
“Why wouldn’t you work with me?” That’s what Ada answered when asked what her pitch would be to a driver.
She doesn’t have a rehearsed elevator speech because she doesn’t need one. Ada is lightning-fast, deeply committed, and impossible not to root for. Drivers, agents, and team members across the company praise her responsiveness and problem-solving skills.
She cares. That’s her “pitch.” And it shows.
How Ada Found Her Groove
Before joining USA Containers, Ada was in a tough place. She had just dropped out of university after months of stress and sadness, and was terrified to tell her parents.
But when she finally did, their support changed everything.
From there, a friend (hi, Dana!) told her about a customer service opening at USA Containers. She gave it a shot.
The job was fine, but it didn’t challenge her enough. She wanted more. To think, to solve, to build. She found her groove in logistics, eventually.
Her first week? “A disaster,” she says. She was terrified. Overwhelmed. But she kept showing up. Kept learning. Kept moving forward.
And now? She owns it.
Life Behind the Scenes
Ada starts her day at 7 AM sharp. By the time most of us finish our first coffee, she’s already answered a dozen emails, sent morning check-ins to customers, verified phone numbers, updated Trello boards, and color-coded delivery spreadsheets—her secret weapon for staying sane.
She schedules deliveries. Solves problems. Keeps things moving. If she doesn’t know the answer, she finds it. If something needs to be done, she does it.
And she does it all while being deeply human: celebrating holidays with drivers, sending kind messages, remembering birthdays, cracking jokes, and yes, admitting she’s anxious sometimes.
Face-to-Face Changed Everything
This year, Ada came to the United States for the first time. She visited depots, met drivers in person, went on deliveries, and truly saw what happens in the field.
It changed her.
Seeing the drivers she works with every day made everything click. Suddenly, the work wasn't just emails and spreadsheets. It was real people, real containers, and real customers depending on smooth deliveries.
Now when a driver says, “The depot has a line,” she gets it. When they ask for a favor, she understands the bigger picture.
She's built lasting friendships with many of them. Inava, Thomas, Travis, Jackie, DJ. And she swears that even just one dinner together changes the entire relationship for the better.
Actions Speak Louder Than Words
Ada doesn’t believe in empty words.
If someone says they’re good, she wants proof. And she holds herself to that standard, too.
She’s not the kind to brag, but her numbers are up. Her drivers are happy. And she’s currently helping choose an assistant because her workload has grown so much that she now needs support.
That’s what happens when you deliver results.
The Future’s So Bright She’s Gotta Wear Shades
Ada says she doesn’t know exactly what the future holds, but she knows it’s in logistics. That’s where she thrives.
She likes solving problems. Finding patterns. Negotiating tricky schedules. She loves the feeling of saving an order or figuring out something no one else saw.
She’s not looking to go back to customer service, and she’s not looking to be anyone else. The Ada from two years ago wouldn’t recognize the version of her today, and that’s something she’s proud of.
So are we.
