Shipping Container Ramps

A shipping container floor sits several inches above the ground, and that lip makes loading anything on wheels a struggle. Container ramps bridge that gap so you can roll carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, and equipment straight in and out. The right ramp depends entirely on what you are moving and how heavy it is, which is why we carry several types.

For light, everyday loading, a lightweight portable ramp with carry handles and an anti-slip surface lets one person set it up and move it anywhere. A foldable loading ramp offers the same portability in larger sizes and folds away for storage. For serious weight, a heavy-duty forklift ramp is built to support a loaded forklift driving up into the container. We also carry rubber curb ramps and threshold ramps for rolling vehicles or equipment over a curb or low rise, and for managing cords and hoses across a doorway.

How to choose: match the ramp to your heaviest load. Moving hand trucks and carts? A lightweight or foldable ramp is ideal, and a longer ramp gives a gentler slope that is easier to push up. Driving a forklift or heavy machinery into the container? You need a heavy-duty forklift ramp rated for that weight, do not substitute a portable ramp. For curbs and thresholds rather than loading into the container, our rubber ramps handle those transitions safely.
