Description

A shipping container floor sits about six inches above the ground, and that six inches is enough to stop a forklift cold. This heavy-duty container dock plate bridges the gap so you can drive straight in and out. Built from 10-gauge diamond plate steel with a 16,000 lb board capacity, it drops onto your container's door sill in seconds - no bolting, no welding, no modification. Load a full container in minutes instead of hand-stacking at the doors

How to use

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Place the Ramp

  1. Drive your forklift or use heavy equipment to bring the ramp to the shipping container doors.
  2. Center the ramp directly in front of the open container entrance.

Step 2: Set the Threshold Lip

  1. Push the ramp tightly against the container so the top lip rests flat over the floor entrance.
  2. CRITICAL STEP: Make sure the lip sits fully on the container floor and the bottom of the ramp sits completely flat on the ground. It must not rock or wobble before you drive on it.

Step 3: Drive and Load

  1. Drive your forklift slowly and straight up the center of the ramp.
  2. Keep your loads low to the ground for balance while driving up or down.

This was everything i had hoped for. I needed to move almost everything to our container to have carpets replaced. This thing can easily handle almost anything you can throw at it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a container forklift ramp used for?

It bridges the gap between the ground and your container floor so you can drive equipment straight in and out. A forklift ramp lets forklifts, carts, and pallet jacks roll up into the container at a manageable grade, instead of being stuck at ground level. For anyone loading and unloading heavy pallets, it turns a container into a drive-in loading space.

What can drive on the ramp?

It is built for forklifts, as well as carts and pallet jacks, so you can move heavy, palletized, or wheeled loads in and out under their own power. That makes it a strong fit for warehouses, job sites, and businesses that handle freight in and out of a container regularly.

How much weight does the forklift ramp hold?

It is a heavy-duty steel ramp built to support a loaded forklift and its cargo. For the exact rated capacity, check the product specifications and stay within that limit, since a forklift plus its load can be very heavy. This forklift ramp is rated for 16,000lbs

Is the ramp durable enough for regular use?

Yes. It has a durable steel build designed to stand up to the repeated weight and traffic of forklifts and loaded equipment. Steel construction also means it holds up outdoors and on rough ground, where a lighter ramp would flex or wear out.
