Talia Campos: Coordinating Container Deliveries from Curitiba

When you think of a delivery coordinator, you might imagine someone behind a desk, juggling calls, emails, and schedules. That is true, but in Talia’s case, she does it all remotely from Curitiba in Brazil. Her journey to USA Containers started in a way that feels almost like fate, and her story is full of energy, curiosity, and even a little go-karting adrenaline.

A Chance Message That Changed Everything

Before joining USA Containers in September 2024, Talia was already working in logistics, but in a very different industry. She handled deliveries, finance, and HR for a company that sold high-end hot tubs across Brazil.

One day, she received a message from a former fellow missionary, Thiago. They had not spoken in a while, but he remembered her English skills from their time serving missions together and told her about an opening at USA Containers. The timing could not have been better. She was ready for a new challenge, and within weeks she was part of the team.

The Mission That Taught Her Adaptability

Talia served her mission in Santiago, Chile, where she learned to speak Spanish and adapt to new environments and cultures. Living in Chile gave her a deep appreciation for diversity, resilience, and communication. These skills are now part of her everyday work when coordinating with drivers and customers.

Life as a Delivery Coordinator

At USA Containers, Talia is the bridge between sales, customers, and drivers. When a sale is made, she assigns the right driver, communicates delivery details, and ensures customers are updated every step of the way.

Weather challenges, specific customer requests, and last-minute changes are all part of her day. One of her proudest moments was coordinating a delivery with a driver who only speaks Portuguese and seeing how much customers appreciated the job he did even though he didn’t speak their language. 

A Love for Learning

If there is one thing that defines Talia, it is her willingness to learn. Whether it is improving processes, mastering a new skill, or understanding different perspectives, she is constantly asking questions and looking for ways to do better.

This mindset goes beyond work. She once spent a year in medical school before the pandemic caused her plans to change. She has also taught English, worked in different area of business, and continues to seek growth opportunities.

Beyond the Job

Outside of work, Talia loves calm spaces, museums, parks. She also enjoys spending time with her family, which in true Brazilian fashion is big and full of personality. She is engaged to be married in September and has dreams of traveling to places like Norway and Switzerland with her soon-to-be husband. Her friends also know her as a champion go-kart driver, inspired by racing video games with her brothers.

Peace and Purpose

When asked about her ideal future, Talia says she wants one of peace and purpose. She knows that life, and a future with kids, might not always be quiet. For now, she is focused on doing her best every day, building relationships, and keeping deliveries running smoothly.
