Not much to say other than this met all expectations, it is well built and held up perfectly under repeated use. I was able to easily raise the container which allowed me to put logs under it and move it into position without much effort.

How to use

Step-by-Step Usage

Step 1: Install the Leveling Bracket

  1. Move to the corner casting of your shipping container on the side that needs to be raised.
  2. Insert the leveling bracket into the corner opening and twist it upward into place until it is securely hooked.

Step 2: Set Up the Bottle Jack

  1. Place your bottle jack directly underneath the installed bracket and wooden support piece.
  2. Pump the jack slightly until it makes firm contact with the bracket and there is a little bit of tension on the setup.

Step 3: Jack Up the Container

  1. Begin pumping the bottle jack steadily.
  2. With each pump, the container will lift. Continue jacking until the container reaches your desired height to correct the unlevel side.

Step 4: Insert the Shim and Lower

  1. Locate the gap created under the low side of the container.
  2. CRITICAL STEP: Carefully slide your leveling shim into the gap underneath the container. Watch your fingers closely during this step.
  3. Slowly and carefully release the pressure on your bottle jack to lower the container onto the shim.
  4. Remove the jack and twist the bracket to uninstall it.

What Our Customers Say

Not much to say other than this met all expectations, it is well built and held up perfectly under repeated use. I was able to easily raise the container which allowed me to put logs under it and move it into position without much effort.

  • Damien C.

Worked a lot better than I expected.

  • Stacy C.

This came in earlier than predicted so that was nice. Only used ones to lift the corner of a connex to level it out. Mount locked into hole perfectly. The only think is that it could be made just a little taller from lift pin to jack plate (top). I had to use some shoring so my jack didn’t sink into the ground and had a heck of time getting the jack under it once the shoring was in place. It could also use a handle on the time to hang onto when putting it in place and getting the jack under it. Overall, I’m very happy with this product and the cost.

  • David H.

Bought two on these jack lugs to raise up this 40 ft shipping container. I place 11 railroad ties underneath, so it would be off the ground. Both jack lugs worked like a champ. Very robust and very easy to use. Worth the money… Hint: Make sure you place them so the back in on solid siding of the container. Works better that way. On the side is the best.

  • Azen C.

This tool made leveling my 40’ shipping container a breeze. Super sturdy and I really like the lip that prevents the jack from slipping out. I purchased a Big Red T91213 Torin twelve ton hydraulic jack that also worked great. I purchased two so that I could lift one side at a time. I used 2×12 blocks under the corners for leveling pads.

  • Kindle C.

This had no problem at all lifting my 40 foot high cube shipping container for leveling. I had to lift all four corners up off of the ground and this was the ticket. My only regret was not purchasing two of them so that I could put one on each corner on the end I’m lifting to prevent twisting of the container. Using only one did raise the entire end of the container up, but two would have been PERFECT and so much faster.

  • Rich O.

I have 5 conex storage containers sitting on the ground. Now I have 5 storage containers sitting on bricks, on the ground and all are level. Great device !

  • Ron D.

Works great to level the shipping container.

  • Gilberto G.

This made all the difference in jacking up my connex box. Save yourself some time and headache and use this jack. Used it for my box and a friend borrowed it for his. Planning on using it for another in the future. 100% worth the investment

  • Duke D.

Paired with a couple of 20 ton bottle jacks, it made lifting a 40 foot container a breeze. These are an absolute must have to life and level a shipping container. Very precise movements can be made doing it this way.

  • Paul P.

Worked perfect made leveling container very easy with a 10 ton bottle jack

  • Alex C.

I used them to level out 3 conex box’s, they worked as advertised no problems

  • Warren V.

The product worked as advertised and is an effective and safe way to jack a cargo container. I used it on my 20’ container to help level it after settling for ten years. Be sure to use a bottle jack with appropriate lifting capacity. I had no problem with an 8 tone jack.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are my container doors hard to open or close?

It is often the ground, not the lock. When a container sits on uneven ground, the frame twists slightly, and because the doors are precisely fitted, even a small amount of frame racking makes them bind, stick, or refuse to line up. Leveling the container removes that twist and lets the doors open and close properly again.

What does the leveling booster bracket do?

It lets you lift and level your container one corner at a time to take the twist out of the frame. By raising the low corner back to level, it squares the frame so the doors realign and operate smoothly. It is a simple fix for one of the most common and frustrating container problems.

How do I use the booster bracket?

You position the bracket at the corner that needs raising and use it to lift that corner with a bottle jack, then add shimming or support to hold the container level once it is up.

Can this help when setting up a container on a new site?

Yes. Beyond fixing existing door problems, it is useful any time you are placing a container on ground that is not perfectly flat, letting you level it during setup so the doors work correctly from day one. Getting a container level at placement prevents the frame-twist and door issues that uneven ground causes later.
