There are a lot of options out there for securing your sea container. I chose this one because of great reviews and price. I am not disappointed. All parts are heavy duty. It took around 40 minutes to install. The box is well designed and even has a cutout to accommodate the door seal. I ordered with the lock and am very pleased.

Stout unit and price is the best you’ll find. If I had one piece of constructive criticism is for the manufacturer to send a drill pattern with the kit. Easy enough to measure, just would make the installation quicker is all. Great buy!

A great investment for the money. Not hard to install. But VERY hard to break! Glad I found this product. It was well worth the investment. To break this lock box off would take lots of time, effort, determination and would make lots of noise – which could alert anyone nearby.

I really wanted the cheap out but I thought better of it and after watching this video multiple times on YouTube I decided this was the way to go. We got them for both of our 20-foot containers and I couldn’t be happier.

The lock is high quality and uses the same key style as my Abus Granite lock made in Germany.

Construction seems pretty sturdy, although it’s a much thinner gauge steel than my weld-on unit. It came with hardware bags, a “Warning” sticker to put on your box, and a handwritten packing note showing they grabbed all your stuff and even the name of the person who packed it. Arrived pretty quickly as well. Have yet to install, but will surely be satisfied and will update this review if I’m not.

The housing is really thick. Looks to be very strong and comes with all the hardware. Excellent product and a fair price!

This thing is heavy duty and just plain awesome. Good luck to any bad guys trying to cut this one off! Ha!

The lock box is solid, well coated and well made, hence the positive review.

Install went very easy on the container. I recommend using a pilot bit to drill a small hole all the way through your bottom holes and the first external layer on your tops (make sure you drill straight, I use a Kreg Drill Guide, about $10 at HomeDepot), then you can use a step bit to enlarge them to the right size. Drill your last 2 holes (the inside top holes using your washer plates to make sure they’re straight. They outline all this in their YT video. Lastly, I personally would recommend taping the box and lock-tab to the container to see how it will all line up. My lock-tab is at the very top of the hole for it in the lock box and if the doors ever warp a bit, I won’t be able to get the tab to fit the hole. You can probably get away with dropping the lock-tab side a couple of millimeters and it would serve you well. Just an idea after having completed the install. VERY happy with the finished product. Also, I decided to upgrade to an Abus 92/80 lock instead of purchasing theirs and it fit like a glove with absolutely none of the lock exposed to bolt cutters.
