How to use

Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1: Measure and Mark the Mounting Holes

Choose a high position on the side or front wall of your shipping container (e.g., above a vent or door frame) that receives clear, direct sunlight during the day.
Hold the light's mounting base up to the selected spot on the steel wall.
Use a tape measure and a marker to pinpoint and mark the exact locations of the two mounting screws.

Step 2: Drive the Self-Tapping Screws

Equip your power drill with a matching bolt driver bit and lock in a heavy-duty self-tapping screw.
Drill the two screws directly into your marked positions on the steel container wall.
CRITICAL STEP: Leave the heads of both screws sticking out slightly from the wall (about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch). Do not drive them completely flat against the steel yet, as they need to act as hanging pins for the light fixture.

Step 3: Hang and Secure the Light Base

Take the light fixture and align the two teardrop-shaped slots (grooves) on the back of the bracket with the extended screw heads on the container wall.
Push the fixture over the screw heads and slide it firmly downward to lock it into the narrow part of the grooves. Ensure it fits nice and snug.

Step 4: Angle the Panels and Test

Physically adjust and pivot the three independent LED light faces to target your specific doorways, paths, or dark blind spots.
Let the integrated solar panel on top charge in the sun for a full day cycle.
Pro-Tip: Once darkness falls, walk near the container to test the tracking sensitivity. The light will automatically trigger, blasting the entire surrounding area with high-intensity coverage.

This is not my first purchase of this type light. I travel home from work after midnight on work nights, so I really need these for safety reasons when I get home. These lights are easy to install. Once they are in position with plenty of sunlight to keep them powered, they work great. They are a really bright, daylight shade of light. You will be surprised how bright they are. As you or dogs, or deer, or bears walk in front of the sensor , they will flash on and really brighten thing up. And the price is very affordable too.

I installed this light in early 2024 and after almost a year it’s still working quite well. Being able to aim the solar cell and lights is helpful, and it’s easy to install. It gives off a lot of light and being able to aim the lights in multiple directions had made it ideal for the entrance I hung it over because it lights up the walkway leading up to it, too.

Okay.. I have been looking to add more outdoor security lighting to my property and was not about to pay an electrician a boatload of cash to achieve my goal.
